One of the greatest things about living in Las Cruces is the great mountains New Mexico features so near by. The trip to Ruidoso or Cloudcroft allows Las Cruces residents to get away to trees and cool weather. Las Cruces is also a quick trip to Silvercity and the Gila Wilderness. Lance Armstrong is finding out first hand about the area as he competes in the "Tour of the Gila". The 7 consecutive Tour de France winner has competed in this race before so he knows about the high elevation and difficult course. What a great oppurtunity for Southern New Mexico to host one of Americas most dominate athletes.

Searching for Las Cruces NM Real Estate Listings? Maybe you are searching for land in Dona Ana County?
There are many places around the net that claim to give accurate real estate listings. Many of these websites fall short. They have homes that have long been sold or have expired. These websites rely on other websites and in turn are not as accurate as they should be. Luckily there are some websites that are up to date. We suggest looking here. This sight is updated multiple times per day. The listings come directly from the Las Cruces MLS so the information is as up to date as anywhere you can find. So the next time you are searching the internet for houses in Las Cruces, Mesilla or Dona Ana County start here so that you know the information is reliable.

Having trouble trying to improve your credit? Trying to buy a house? These factors will help you understand what goes into determining your credit score. For more information visit us at
5 Factors That Decide Your Credit Score
Credit scores range between 200 and 800. Scores above 620 are considered desirable for obtaining a mortgage. These factors will affect your score.
1. Your payment history. Whether you paid credit card obligations on time.
2. How much you owe. Owing a great deal of money on numerous accounts can indicate that you are overextended.
3. The length of your credit history. In general, the longer the better.
4. How much new credit you have. New credit, either installment payments or new credit cards, are considered more risky, even if you pay promptly.
5. The types of credit you use. Generally, it’s desirable to have more than one type of credit—installment loans, credit cards, and a mortgage, for example.

Not only are home owners realizing the strength of the local Real Estate Market in Las Cruces and the Mesilla Valley but so has the local media. Our community has long been a great place to live and work. The local economy has been very resilient. Connie was recently asked about our real estate market by the Las Cruces Sun News. While the article does not get into detail it is nice to finally see the media seeing the real estate market as we do.

In recent months several national magazines have contained articles about the Las Cruces area. Now the May issue of NM Magazine highlights the Fountain Theater in Old Mesilla, just beyond the Las Cruces city limits. For over 100 years the old theater has been the setting for vaudeville and cinema performances. Now the Theater is the "premier art house in the region thanks to the Mesilla Valley Film Society." We keep saying it: come visit the area and get a taste of the Old West, the vibrant present, and the future! You may wish to return and purchase land or a home. It happens quite often, and we are here to help you!
